Charice's Louder used by a French Dance Club

This is not really news about Charice related to her.

It's a YouTube video of a French dance club that promotes country dancing and used Charice's song "Louder" in one of their courses.



Since the group's genre is country dancing, the way they danced to Louder is so different from how other groups dance it.

What's even more interesting is that their dance steps matched every single beat of the song.

The One and Only Hit-Man David Foster and Friends was in concert on October 25, 2011 at the Araneta Coliseum, Manila of the Philippines. C-H-A-R-I-C-E is the second to last performer in the show singing four songs: "Power of Love", "Stand up for Love", "UnBreak My Heart", and "Louder". Then at end of the show, she performed a duet with Michael Bolton for "The prayer" and concluded the concert with "the Earth Song" with all other artists.

The genesis of the world premiere of Charice's music video for Louder:

It started as a leak on a Japanese cable TV. A recording of it was uploaded on YouTube, triggering complaints on the low video and audio qualities. Websites already started publishing their reviews based on that. The video director called via Twitter for waiting for the HD version that was going to be world-premiered on EW.com - that was yesterday. We still did not think it was HD enough but at least it was official. And finally, Charice uploads it on her own YouTube Channel and, yes, it is definitely high def. Charice herself tweeted about the upload.

This article "How does YouTube video view count work?" says that YouTube embedded videos using YouTube's own HTML5 or Flash player contribute to the video's count.

World Premiere of Charice's Official LOUDER MV

Entertainment Weekly premieres today the official Louder music video of Charice. An unofficial upload has been made on YouTube but if you want to go to the original site, click EW.com or the image above.

This is the HD version so more of the scenes, especially her dancing, can be seen when compared to the dark and low quality recorded-from-TV that has been circulating on the internet since last week.

Charice has dropped the official music video for her single Louder.

The 19-year-old ‘Pyramid’ hit-maker premieres the official music video for her single ‘Louder’ on EW.com Friday, Oct. 18. Louder is the second single from her forthcoming second international studio album called ‘Infinity.’

On the video, Charice kicks some catchy dance routine choreographed by Gil Duldulao, the man who also worked with her previous ‘One Day’ video. Louder is directed by Tim Cruz.

Charice’s Infinity album is now available in Japan, no concrete details yet on the release date of her album in the U.S.

The 19-year-old Filipina singer debuted the video in Japan, where her new album, Infinity, is out!

Another Review of Charice's "Louder MV" Before Its Official US Premiere

The premiere of Charice's Louder music video seems to have waited too long that it already managed to sneak into Japanese cable TV.

Right now, poor (video- and audio-wise) copies of the same recorded-from-TV video are up on YouTube and have elicited reviews from at least two entertainment sites in the U.S.: Popcrush (read below) and Hollywoodlife.

The official US premiere of Louder will be on Tuesday on EW.com.

Charice has dropped the new video for ‘Louder,’ which appears on her recently released sophomore album ‘Infinity.’ The video — which premiered on the Japanese television channel Space Shower TV — has less going on than her previous clip for ‘One Day,’ with Charice acting as the main player of the ‘Louder’ video rather than having a huge cast.

For such an uptempo song, the ‘Louder’ video is surprisingly on the simpler side. Charice’s outfits change, but not much goes on in the video except for her singing and a few dance routines. At one point, Charice stares out a rainy window as she emotionally sings, and in another part she stands in front of a decorative beaded curtain.

The ‘Louder’ video might appear to mundane to some, but for true Charice fans, seeing the songstress sing and dance is one always a treat. Although we enjoyed watching Charice partake in hardcore choreographed routines, we hope that her next video incorporates more of a theme, since this one seemed a bit bland to us.

...The 19-year-old super star released the music video for her single “Louder” and it’s hotter than anything we’ve ever seen from her. Wearing more makeup than usual and trendy clothes, Charice sings in the rain, looks up into the camera with sultry eyes and even breaks it down with back up dancers. Needless to say, we’re impressed.

We also love how even with backup dancers and makeup, Charice always keeps her videos simple…relying at the end of the day on her incredible vocal abilities to carry her.

Charice enthrals music lover(s) in her first M-E concert

DOHA - OVER 4,000 persons flocked to the Katara Cultural Village to enjoy the captivating performance by 19-year-old Charice Pempengco on Thursday. It was the first concert by US-based Filipina star in the Middle East. Charice was dubbed as the ‘Most talented girl in the world’ by Oprah. Filled with excitement, fans started arriving at the venue of the show from 5pm for the concert that began at 9pm. The show, which was tagged ‘Charice Live in Doha’, was the first concert to feature an international female recording artiste in Doha.

It was organised by Golden Relations. During her more than one hour’s performance, Charice gave powerful renditions to several popular cover songs including, ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘Telephone’, ‘Officially Missing You’, ‘If I Ain’t Got You’, ‘All By Myself’, ‘I Have Nothing’, ‘Just the Way You Are’, ‘Price Tag’ and the OPM hit ‘Ikaw’. She also sang her own songs which included ‘Louder’, ‘Pyramid’ and ‘One Day’, which was written by Nick Jonas of the famous Jonas Brothers.

Giving the audience a sample of her upcoming album ‘Infinity’, Charice also performed ‘Before It Explodes’, a song which was written by Bruno Mars. Fulfilling her promise to give the audience value for their money, Charice held the music lovers spellbound with her dramatic moves to different tunes. Talking to Qatar Tribune, Olivia Sage, a 10-year-old student at the American School of Doha said, “I was very excited when I heard that Charice was coming to Doha. I’ve known her since she first appeared at the Glee Season 2. I really like her voice. Her voice is very inspirational. It gives people some comfort.

My message for her is to keep singing and don’t give up.” Arlene Masaba, a Filipino expatriate working for the Sick Children International said, “It’s my first time to see Charice. She’s really wonderful. I am proud that she is a Filipino because she brings honour to our country.

I think she has a very good talent that the whole world needs to know about.” Shaheed Khan, an expatriate from the UK working for the Qatar Foundation, said, “The concert was really nice. Her vocal range was powerful. I have known Charice for about two years now when she first appeared on Oprah Winfrey Show. She was only 16 at that time and the voice that she had was as good as Whitney Houston. I knew she was going to be a megastar and that she is now.

She’s the first Filipino I know going big time internationally”. The international teen singing sensation was no more the little girl which most Filipinos knew from ‘Little Big Star’, a talent contest she had joined when she was only 12 years old.

The crowd saw a talented Charice, who has grown up to be a young woman filled with greater confidence and so much more enthusiasm to share her passion which is for music.

Charice will be releasing her Infinity album in Japan on October 5 and more and more news from there are coming in.

"Louder", one of the tracks from Infinity, is finally available on iTunes Japan. That's about half a year after it had premiered as a theme song for Mezamashi TV.

On October 4, Charice will be a featured artist on the legendary music program "Best Hit USA" (BS ASAHI). Google translate

Charice Views First Cut of "Louder" Music Video

News about Charice these days are coming from the people working with her. One of the latest is about her music video for "Louder", a song included in her Infinity album.

Tim Cruz, her music video director for "Louder", tweeted on September 24 that he was making some adjustments on the rough cut before sending it to the music label.

Today, a tweet from Courtney Blooding says Charice gave the go signal for her to say that they just saw the first cut of "Louder" and that they loved it.
